While on patrol in Afghanistan, Rob Bakker lost his leg in an IED attack. Despite being told that he would never walk again, Rob was determined to not only walk but fly. Here’s his story as part of the Empowering Innovators film series presented by Intel.
Vimeo Description:
In this series, Rob Bakker achieves a goal that doctors said was impossible. His determination and drive made it happen. His story starts in Holland, where the accident is explained. Then it’s on to one of the most beautiful locations in Italy, where you get a sense of what it’s like to have an unstoppable desire to fly.
Live in the moment with Rob. You will take a first step off a snowy peak. This is true human flight.
